Roy Keane backs Manchester United pursuit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The former Manchester United captain thinks Ibrahimovic is a big player with big character that could help lift United.

United have been linked with a move for the 34 year old, who is a free agent.

His contract with French Champions PSG expired last season, and the player said he knows where he would be playing next, though he's refused to let the media into his future.

The appointment of José Mourinho as United manager further strengthens the possibility of Zlatan moving to Old Trafford, as both men are believed to be keen on working together again after their brief time together at Inter.

Keane thinks United should sign Ibra on a one year deal. He told ITV via Daily Mail:

"I think he would be a good signing on a one-year deal.

"He is a big player, a big character. I have said that United have been lacking a few characters and he would be a good fit there."
