Rashford and Borthwick-Jackson react to signing new deals with United

The young Manchester United duo committed their future to the club, by signing new deals which will hopefully extend their Old Trafford stay till 2020, or beyond.

Both are beneficiaries of injuries to senior players last season and Van Gaal's believe in the United youth system.

Borthwick-Jackson, has been impressive at left back, with his calm, composed and matured performance. He made 14 appearances for the team last season. On signing his new contract, he said:

"I have grown up at United and have enjoyed every minute of being here. Last season was an incredible experience to make my first team debut and a dream come true for myself and my family," he said via Sky Sports.

"I feel it stands me in good stead for continuing my development as a Manchester United player. I will continue to work hard and take advice from the manager and his coaching team to improve with every training session."

Rashford also spoke of his delight at signing a new deal and the opportunity of playing club he's always support and the biggest in the world

"I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I have always been a Manchester United fan, so to be playing in the first team really is a dream come true," he told the club's website.

"I am grateful for having the chance to prove myself. To be able to play football at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family."

The striker later took to twitter to express his happiness, he tweeted:
