Stoke forward Marko Arnautovic has said the new Manchester United coach the best in the world.
Manchester United confirmed the appointment of the former Chelsea boss on Friday.
Arnautovic and Mourinho both worked together at Inter Milan, and the striker only managed three substitutes appearance under Mourinho.
Arnautovic played for a combined 57 minutes under Mourinho en route Inter Milan's treble triumph in the 2009/10 season.
Despite their patchy relationship, the Austrian still rates the Portuguese very high.
"My relationship with Jose Mourinho is still very good," he said via Stoke Sentinel.
"For me, he is the best coach in the world. I wish him at Manchester United the best of luck. He added.
