Manchester United striker Anthony Martial will miss France friendly match with Cameroon on Monday due to a thigh injury, manager Didier Deschamps has confirmed.
Martial has had a heavy debut season with United where the 20 year old played over 50 games.
He ended the season as United's top scorer, with 18 goals and Deschamps is not prepared to take chances with the player, who is expected to be back and fit ahead of the European Championship holding in France next month.
"Martial has pain in his thigh," Deschamps confirmed on Sunday via ESPN.
"He finished the season late. I will not take any risks tomorrow and it is likely that he will not participate in the match.
"There is no doubt about Martial's participation in the Euros. His thigh problem is muscular fatigue." He added.
