Manchester United defender Paddy McNair believes new United manager José Mourinho can lead the team to winning trophies.
McNair had a difficult time under Van Gaal breaking into the first team, as he only made ten appearances for the team this season.
The 21 year old will be hoping for a new start under Mourinho, whom he said is a world class manager.
"He’s a world class manager, he has won trophies in a lot of countries and he has worked with the best players and with the best teams in the world," He told Sky Sports.
"I feel like he can bring trophies to Man Utd."
The player also opened up that Mourinho spoken to him.
"I have not heard anything from him."
