Nathaniel Clyne impressed with Manchester United youngster

The Liverpool defender said he's been impressed with Marcus Rashford during their short stay in the England training camp ahead of the European Championship.

The Manchester United starlet has put himself for contention in the 23 man squad, after his record setting debut goal in the 2-1 over Australia.

Rashford scored his debut goal for the Three Lions in under three minutes on the pitch, which makes him the youngest debutant to score a goal for the national team.

A lot of fans and pundits believes the 18 year old should make the squad as a wild cat.

Clyne thinks Rashford is a promising young talent, who is looking to improve as a player.

"I’ve been impressed. He’s a quality young striker. Clyne said about the young forward.

"Nothing fazes him at all, scoring on his debut. He’s a promising young talent.

"He’s definitely confident, he looks sharp in training. He’s looking to improve as a player."
