Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has been named in Italy's 30 man provisional squad for the European Championship.
The 26 year old defender joined United from Torino last summer. He started his United career on a bright note, but ended up struggling with injuries and consistency as the season progressed.
He was part of the Italian team to the last World Cup, and would be expected to make Antonio Conte'a final 23 man squad for the Championship.
