They both represented Manchester United well in the England setup.
Marcus Rashford scored just three minutes into his international debut as he gave the England managerial team something to think about when selecting the 23 man squad to the Championship.
Rooney was also on the score sheet as he scored England's second goal in the 2-1 win over Australia.
Rooney congratulated Rashford with this tweet:
