Manchester United youngster set for national debut

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is in line to make his debut for the English national team this Friday, when the Three Lions face Australia.

Rashford is one of the major revelation of this season, scoring eight goals for United including a braces against FC Midtjylland and Arsenal, the winner against City and in other important games.

He suffered an injury scare in the FA Cup final against Palace and was substituted on the 72nd minute. He has however been confirmed ok, and has joined up with the national team.

Rashford was named in manager Roy Hodgson's 26 preliminary squad for the Championship, from which three player would be dropped.

Rashford, Chris Smalling and Wayne Rooney alongside for Liverpool players were the late arrival into the England camp because of prolonged club engagements.
