Manchester United have sacked Van Gaal according to various sources including Sky Sports and Daily Mail, though United are yet to release an official statement.
The Dutchman arrived at Old Trafford as usual this morning, and about forty-five minutes later, League Managers Association lawyer Paul Gilroy also drove into
Carrington.
Paul Gilroy is the same lawyer who acted for former United manager David Moyes when he was sacked.
The lawyer was first denied entry into Carrington, but returned few minutes later, and was allowed in. His presence at Carrington signifies that a decision us about to be taken.
Van Gaal appeared uncertain about his future for the first time after United won the FA Cup on Sunday, and reportedly told a Sky Sports reporter "it is over" while leaving the team's hotel on Saturday.
