Manchester United star confirms he's injured and needs rest

Daley Blind has confirmed that he finished last season with a small injury, and needs to rest and recover for next season.

The defender made a whooping 51 appearances for United last season, and the Dutch FA has confirmed that he will be out of the Netherlands friendlies with Poland and Austria.

Blind tweeted this some minutes ago:

According to the FA, Blind sustained the injury in the FA Cup final. The statement from the FA read thus:

"Blind is still feeling the effects of the injury he picked up in the FA Cup final on May 21 and will not travel with the team."

The Dutch national team did not qualify for the European Championship.
