Arsenal legend Martin Keown has compared Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to Teddy Sheringham but with with pace.
Rashford has been one of the major revelations of the Premier League this season. He's scored seven goals for United since making his debut in February.
The former Arsenal star recalls seeing Rashford play with the United academy some days before he made his debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League where he scored a brace to help United through to the next round.
"I went to Manchester to watch my son's Reading Under 21s take on United in February, and saw Marcus Rashford 10 days before he burst on to the scene.
"I was intrigued by his movement — he reminded me of a young Teddy Sheringham, but with pace! He wrote in the Daily Mail.
"Teddy would move into spaces you couldn't go as a defender, and Rashford has done this to good effect in the first team. He drops off deep and runs at defenders diagonally, forcing them to dive into a risky challenge."
Rashford was again impressive in the FA Cup final but was forced out of the game late in the second half because of an injury scare. It's been however confirmed that he is fine.
