Anthony Martial took his goal tally for United to seventeen (17) this season, with his double against West Ham. Which further strengthens him the club's highest goal scorer this season.
With his last brace, Martial equalled Wayne Rooney and Brian Kidd record for the most goals scored by a player who started his career or joined United as a teenager.
Wayne Rooney and Brian Kidd both scored 17 goals in their first season at United as teenagers.
Kidd scored 17 goals during his debut campaign in 1967/68, as an eighteen year old striker, while Rooney did the same in the 2004/05 season when he joined United.
Martial was aged 19 when he joined United, and has also scored the same number of goals.
With two games to go for United this season, Martial can surpass that record, which would be a great one for him.
