Four Man United academy players that got their first team breakthrough this season have been honoured by the club.
The players include Marcus Rashford, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Donald Love and James Weir.
The four players each received an award from United's Head of Academy, Nicky Butt, and former Manchester United defender Chris Casper who is now a club support manager for the Premier League.
Rashford made his debut for United in the Europa league match with Midtjylland, scoring a brace and followed it up with another brace against Arsenal in his Premier League debut. He has since scored seven goals for the team.
Borthwick-Jackson made his Premier League debut against West Brom in November coming on for Marcos Rojo. He has since them played a number of games for United has been calm and composed.
Donald Love replaced Matteo Darmian against Sunderland for his debut in February, while U-21 captain James Weir made his debut against Arsenal (the same match Rashford made his PL debut), coming on for Ander Herrera.
It's great seeing young quality players coming through the ranks at Old Trafford, and this will sure motivate other academy players, that there is hope for them, if they keep working hard.
