Pictures: Manchester United duo named in Facebook Premier League team of the season

Two Manchester United players were voted into the Facebook Premier League team of the season.

David De Gea and  Chris Smalling  represented United in the final selected team.

The two players have been solid personalities behind United's enviable defensive record in the League. United have conceded the least number of goals in the league this season.

Smalling was paired with Leicester City's Robert Huth in the voted team's centre defence.

Leicester City and Tottenham produced three player each, while United followed with two players.

Here's the Facebook team of the season:

David de Gea; Hector Bellerin, Robert Huth, Chris Smalling, Toby Alderweireld; Riyad Mahrez, Dele Alli, Dimitri Payet; Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero.

With a 4-3-3 formation.

Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez won the player of the year, while his manager Claudio Ranieri was voted manager if the year.

Anthony Martial won the young player of the year. 

Sir Alex Ferguson won the Content of the year award
