Manchester United are preparing a mega bid for Juve striker Alvaro Morata according to reports from Italy.
The 23 year old has a buy-back clause in his contract that gives former club Real Madrid the first option of buying the player in case of a move away from the Old Lady.
Earlier reports in The Guardian claims Madrid are preparing to activate the clause, for around £24m and then sell the player to the highest bidder for around £40m.
According to Tuttosport, United are preparing a bid worth £39.4m for the Spanish international. United are ready to submit the bid to Real, if the club decides to buy him back.
José Mourinho's anticipated arrival at United could also facilitate the deal, as the duo worked together at Real, where Mourinho gave the 23 year old his first team debut in 2010.
