The English FA have condemned and confirmed that they will investigate the ugly incident that happened to the United bus on its way to the West Ham stadium for the match.
Pictures and videos showed that the bus was attacked by the Hammers fans with bottles and other other things been thrown at it.
The match was then delayed for 45 minutes after it was clear that the United team couldn't enter the ground when expected.
Objects were also thrown at United goalkeeper David De Gea as he celebrated United's second goal.
An official statement from the FA reads thus:
"The FA strongly condemns the unsavoury incidents this evening involving both the Manchester United team coach outside West Ham United's Boleyn Ground and objects thrown from a section of the home support during the game
"We will work closely with both clubs and the Metropolitan Police to fully investigate these matters."
