The Manchester United manager may resign for this duties as the United coach at the end of this season according to Daily Mirror.
The Dutchman's contract expires next summer, and quitting this summer will make leave a year earlier than planned.
The Dutchman is reportedly frustrated at the immense pressure he is facing at United. News of his sack got the the peak last year, that made the United gaffer walk out of a press conference, five minutes into the media briefing.
The United boss believes constant speculation of his sack is having negative effects on his friends and family, and once said, he may fire himself, before the club does.
Van Gaal has walked out of his managerial post in his previous jobs, and is not new to it.
His early departure may enable United actively join the race for Pep Guardiola.
