Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a new and improved contract for manager Mauricio Pochettino to prevent him from leaving the club according to The Mirror.
The Argentine has improved the London club since joining in 2014, and with the club currently fourth on the table, there are hopes that Tottenham could qualify for the Champions League next season.
Spurs are remarkably ahead of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United on the table. And the Argentine name has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea who could be changing their managers in the summer.
Tottenham chairman Dany Levy is keen on rewarding his manager, and a new deal seems to be in the pipeline.
Pochettino has been praised for his exceptional work ethics, and has final say on transfers at Spurs.
He has been linked with Van Gaal's job at United and will most likely be a target, should the Dutchman be sacked or leaves.
