Juventus are asking for a world record fee of €120m, for midfielder Paul Pogba which is scaring clubs away.
Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona and Chelsea are all interested in the Frenchman. Juve are not prepared to let the player leave for cheap, as they are demanding a straight €100m transfer fee and between €10-€20m in add-ons depending on how successful he becomes at the new club.
According to Fabrizio Romano in the Guardian, Juve are ready to increase the player's wage from €5m to €7m per annum.
Real Madrid have reportedly opened negotiations with the player's agent, but are put aback by Juve's demand and the Pogba's salary demand.
According to Romano, the player is demanding a €12-€13m per season until 2021 which is also a stumbling block to Madrid's order of €8-€9m per season.
Mourinho sees the player as one who can provide the right balance and stability to United's midfield. But the player and Juve's demands means United may have to look elsewhere for a top midfielder.
