United yet to submit new bid for Brazilian : club boss reveals

Lazio director of sports Igli Tare has revealed that Manchester United are yet to make a fresh bid for Brazilian target Felipe Anderson, even though the Italian side once rejected a bid of $50m for the winger from United.

The director thinks with a little consistency, the winger is worth more than the $50m, United once offered.

The Lazio director speaking to Mediaset Premium before Lazio's game against Fiorentina said:

“So far we haven’t received anything from Manchester United.

“We turned down a €50m offer from Manchester United on August 27 and nothing has changed since then, because if he finds consistency, then he’s worth much more.

“We also resisted bigger offers than that, but we have targets to achieve.”

The player himself has not ruled out a move away from Lazio this January.

Speaking after he scored his team's third goal against Fiorentina, he said:

"I don’t know, (if I'll be a Lazio player by the end of January).

"I am concentrated on doing my job and doing well here."
