Manchester United are close to finalizing a deal for Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic, according to Daily Express.
United have just won one game in their last eight, and the manner in which the United defence conceded goals against Newcastle was alarming. Twice the Magpies came back to snatch a 3-3 draw.
This has prompted Van Gaal into the market for a defender. The deal is reported to be in the region of £16m and could be finalized in a matter of hours.
The 24 year old is a centre back from Austria.
