Picture: David de Gea sends message to fans ahead of Spain's Euro opener

The Manchester United goalkeeper is in high spirit, ahead of Spain's opening match against Czech Republic   in the European Championship despite allegations of sexual assault.

News broke out on Friday the De Gea alongside two other Spanish players, (but not in the Spain's squad to the European Championship), are being investigated by Spanish police for a assaulting some ladies in a Madrid hotel back in 2012.

This led to rumors that De Gea has been sent packing from the team, which were false.

He tweeted this ahead of the game on Monday:

It remains to be seen if Del Bosque will trust De Gea who has been in competition witb Casillas as to who start for the team.
