Manchester United's developing relationship with super agent Mino Raiola, and Real Madrid's indecision on whether to sign Pogba or not could help the Old Trafford giants in their quest to sign the Frenchman.
United are currently close to completing the signature of two of Raiola's top clients in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and that could help ease negotiations with Juve for Pogba.
Raiola played a key role in Mkhitaryan anticipated move to Old Trafford, after Dortmund initial refusal to negotiate a deal for the player.
Mourinho has made Pogba a top priority this summer as he bids to strengthen the United midfield.
According to Spanish outlet AS, early negotiations are currently ongoing between United and the Riaola: Who is Pogba's agent.
United are hoping to outsmart Real, who are still contemplating on whether to make a bid for Pogba or not.
According to AS, Madrid president Florentino Pérez is not a Paul pogba fan, but manager Zidane, believes his countryman can make the Champions League winners a stronger side and wants him to join.
Juve on the other hand are holding out for a record €120m for the player, in a bid to scare clubs away and are also prepared to offer the 23 year old an improved deal.
