The former Manchester United defender has opened up on one of the things that got him under the famous Sir Alex hairdryer treatment.
Ferdinand, one of the best defenders of the Sir Alex era got the Scotsman angry, when he told him he wanted to open a restaurant.
"I told Sir Alex I wanted to open a restaurant. He went crazy." Ferdinand said at the DocuSign Momentum event in London.
Ferdinand however added that everyone is happy now, that he has something to fall back on after retiring.
"After a while they were fine with it because they were booking tables at my restaurant."
Rio spent a highly successful 12 years at United, where he and Vidic for some years were the best centre defense pairing in Europe.
