Manchester United have been reportedly courting the striker for a move to Old Trafford. But according to reports, Ibrahimovic's dream to play in this summer's Olympics may further complicate negotiations with United.
Ibrahimovic's deal with PSG expires this June, and the 34 year old may forfeit up to £1m if he signs or announce a deal for another club before the end of the month.
A deal was previously expected to made public after the European Championship, but Ibra's ambition to be an Olympian may push the deal date further.
The football, event of the Olympics holds between August 4-20, and his participation will rule out if United's Premier League opener on August 13, and keep him out of United's preseason.
There would also be concerns of fatigue and burnout for the striker who would be starting his season a little late for United.
