Manchester United will be interested if Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta becomes available.
According to Sky Sports expert Guillem Balague, the defender is in high demand as a lot of clubs have expressed their willingness to sign the Spaniard.
Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are the front runners in the race to sign the 26 year old, and Balague thinks the club may sell if the right offer comes in for the player.
"If Chelsea were willing to sell, the front runners would be Atletico Madrid, although they have recently coolled on the idea, turning their attentions instead to Croatian full-back Sime Vrsaljko." The Spanish football expert told Sky Sports.
"And then of course there's Manchester United now under the rule of Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager knows the player well but whether or not Chelsea would be prepared to sell Azpilicueta - at any price - to the club of their former manager and to a rival in England is another matter altogether. I very much doubt it."
Mourinho has already strengthen his defence with the signing of Eric Bailly. And it remains to be seen if he would still sign more defenders.
If Luke Shaw can stay fit and injury free next season, United will have the left back covered. While Rojo and Blind can always fill in sometimes.
Mourinho will have to chose between the likes of Matteo Darmian, Antonio Valencia, guillermo varela for the right back position.
In all the wingback position for United is well covered, baring injuries. And hence the singing of Azpilicueta may not be top on Mourinho'a priority for now.
