Man United star open to new Old Trafford contract

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has said he wouldn't be against extending his his current deal at United.

The 30 year old has three year left on his current deal. The striker joined United 12 years ago, and has grown into one of the club's legend.

“I have a contract at the club that I want to see out and wouldn’t be against extending it — but that’s up to the club.'' Rooney said.

Rooney has been fantastic in the ongoing European Championship, and with the player saying he doesn't see himself playing in another Premier League team, a contract extension looks likely but not now.
