Manchester United defender Phil Jones has been given assurance by José Mourinho that he is in his plans.
Jones' future under Mourinho has come under scrutiny after the signing of Eric Bailly who is a centre back. His signing means Jones faces more competition for a starting place in the new United setup.
The 24 year old struggled with injuries and form last season making only 13 appearances for the first team.
According to the Mirror, José still has faith that the Englishman can emulate Chelsea legend John Terry and become a force to reckon with.
It will be delightful to see Jones feature for United consistently next season, though that still bothers on his fitness and consistency.
