Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent has said up that the striker is still open to a move to the Serie A. The former PSG striker has had spells at Juventus, AC Milan and Inter.
The 34 year old has been closely linked with a move to United and a deal is believed to have been agreed.
The striker announced his immediate retirement after the European Championship from which the Swiss have been knocked out.
His agent is however not guaranteeing a United move yet, even though he said the striker has told him his most preferred destination.
"He told me where he wants to go," Raiola said.
“Could he go back to Italy?
"Hope is the last to die - we'll see."
From the look of things, Ibrahimovic and his agent may delay an official announcement about his future as the player stands to lose about £1m if he signs or announces for another club before the end of June.
