Manchester United are preparing a club record bid for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti, according to reports from Italy.
Corriere Dello Sport says United are ready to submit a stunning €100m bid for the 23 year old midfielder.
The midfielder misses out of the European Championship after undergoing operation for sports hernia, after missing most part of last season.
He joined the French Champions from Pescara in 2012 for €12m, and has grown to being one of the best centre midfielders in World football.
In a related development according to Europe 1 via Get French football news, Ibrahimovic who is believed to be on his way to United convinced United to sign Verratti.
Karim Nedjari, who is a journalist with Europe 1, said that he had been told by a source that José Mourinho is constantly exchanging text messages with Marco Verratti.
United have been linked with a move for Paul Pogba, and a number of midfielders. Verratti won't be a bad choice to settle with, though PSG won't let the player leave easily.
