Former Chelsea star: Painful to see Mourinho lift United back to the top

Former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen says it would be painful as a Chelsea fan seeing Mourinho leading United to glory.

The 37 year old who currently plays for Molde won two League titles with José at Chelsea, and knows the Special one very well.

"Unfortunately for Chelsea, as a Chelsea fan, Mourinho can lift Manchester United back to the top." He said.

‘It’s not a surprise, the way things have panned out (that Mourinho is the new United manager), but it’ll hurt a little bit, put it that way."

Mourinho replaced Van Gaal who was sacked last month despite winning the FA Cup.

With Mourinho at the helm of affair, expectations are high at Old Trafford, that the good old days will be back soon.
