José Mourinho may appear in court as Eva Carneiro presses further charges

The new Manchester United manager may appear in court this month, with other Chelsea  employees as former team doctor Eva Carneiro presses further charges against the Portuguese and Chelsea football club.

This follows last season's incident when the former Chelsea team doctor and a Physio rushed to the pitch to treat Eden Hazard in the 2-2 draw with Swansea last August.

The act angered Mourinho, who labelled the Chelsea doctor and head physio Jon Fearn as 'Impulsive and naive'.

Both medics were demoted from attending to the Chelsea first team players and Eva Carneiro left the Blues in wake of the incident. Though Fearn was later reinstated back to first team duties.

The FA cleared Mourinho of making discriminatory statements and private hearings occurred in January and March at a London South Employment tribunal court between representatives of Carneiro, Chelsea and Mourinho, with no settlement agreed. The case has now gone for full public hearing in the same court.

Carneiro's barrister, Mary O'Rourke QC, told the tribunal that she plans to question Mourinho, Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck and Blues director Marina Granovskaia as part of her case. (Via ESPN)

According to the Guardian: Carneiro is claiming constructive dismissal against Chelsea and has a separate, but connected, personal legal action against Mourinho , who left the club in December, for alleged victimisation and discrimination.

The case would be heard in the tribunal court for between seven to ten days, until June 24 though the case could be settled anytime before then.

Eva Carneiro according to her barrister O'Rourke is demanding a public apology for José Mourinho.
