Villarreal won't block Eric Bailly's move to Man United - Report

Over the weekend, news emerged that Manchester United were close to completing the signing of Villarreal centre defender Eric Bailly. Though there's no official statement from either club.

The deal reportedly agreed by United is in the range of €40m for the 22 year old Ivorian.

The defender has been impressive for the Yellow Submarines, after he joined from Espanyol 18 months ago, and the purported move has received  mixed feelings among United fans.

A club source has however opened up that the club won't stand in the way of the move, once all parties involved are happy.

"There is a team that is very interested and if the three parties agree there will be no problems. If the player wants to leave and Manchester want to pay, we will reach an agreement." The  source said told Marca.

It remains to be seen if United will complete the move. His move to United is confirming Mourinho's fear for Daley Blind as a defender.
