The new Manchester United manager wants to sign Juve striker Alvaro Morata.
The 23 year old has attracted interest from the likes if Arsenal, and Chelsea in recent times.
Real Madrid are also keen on activating a buy back clause in the striker's contract, that may enable them make more profit from his sale.
According to Marca, Mourinho wants a reunion with the striker after their time at Real Madrid.
The striker scored 12 goals for the Italian Champions last season.
United will have to pay over €30m to sign the forward.
Mourinho has kicked off transfer at United with the signing of Eric Bailly and offering new contracts to Rashford, Borthwick-Jackson and most recently Michael Carrick.
The closest striker linked to United is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and an Ibra move looks more likely after the European Championship.
