Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he would release a big announcement on Tuesday (June 7), but has refused to open up about what the announcement will be about.
The 34 year old has been linked with a move to United over the past fee months, and the speculation have increased with the appointment of José Mourinho as the club's new manager.
The former PSG striker has been linked with a move to several clubs including the MLS, Chinese Super League and a return back to Milan.
Speaking after Sweden's 3-0 win over Wales, the striker told Swedish T.V via the Sun:
"There will be a big announcement on he 7th. It will be this summer’s big bomb.
"It feels good, feels better than good. A lot will happen with this news. Hopefully you’ll all enjoy it."
The twist to the story is that Ibrahimovis's contract with PSG expires June 30, and the striker faces losing up to £4m if he signs or announces for another club before then.
The striker may choose to announce his next club, but there is also a possibility that the big news Ibra is talking about is about the launch of his clothing line.
