Updated Manchester United team news ahead of Chelsea clash

Manchester United could welcome two players back into the squad to face Chelsea. Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has finished serving his three match ban and should be back in contention for a start.

Defender Matteo Darmian could also be back in the team, after manager Van Gaal predicted that he could be back for the Chelsea clash.

There were no new injuries in the game against Stoke, so United have no new injury worry.

JesseLingard is still out with an hamstring injury while the trio of Marcos Rojo, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are long term absentees.

For Chelsea, striker Diego Costa is out after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign in the 2-2 draw against Watford.

The Telegraph has reported that Cesc Fabregas has not travelled with the Chelsea squad to Manchester, as he is suffering form fever.

There are also concerns over the fitness of winger over Eden Hazard and striker Radamel Falcao.
