Van Gaal cannot use injuries to several key players in his squad as an excuse for the team's recent poor showing says Jamie Redknapp.
Manchester United have suffered back to back defeat in their last two games, which has put the future of the Dutchman under pressure.
United missed as much as eight players due to injuries in its last defeat to Bournemouth, but that's not an excuse especially after spending £250m Redknapp believes.
Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail :
"You have to wonder if all those injuries are a result of Louis van Gaal working his players too hard. But injuries are no excuse, especially after spending £250million.
"Now United must do something special. Van Gaal needs a trophy to prove it has not just been two wasted years."
