The Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a bid in the region of £40m to bring Manchester United goalkeeper David DeGea back to Spain.
Daily Star is reporting that Madrid will make another audacious attempt to sign the 25 year old at the end of the season, after failing to land him last summer.
It is reported that De Gea has a £36m buy out clause in his new contract and Madrid are ready to exploit that part of the deal.
De Gea signed a new contract at Old Trafford at the beginning of this season after his move to the capital club failed, and he has since declared his happiness at United.
But with United struggling this season, qualification for Champions League hanging in a balance, another manager most likely to be at the helm of affairs next season, United could have to fight another battle to keep the Spaniard.
