Manchester United attacking duo of Wayne Rooney and Jesse lingard have been nominated for the Vauxhall England Player and U-21 Player of the Year awards respectively.
The Vauxhall England Player award is opened to players that have represented the England's senior and U-21 national team in the calendar year.
Wayne Rooney is up against Garry Cahill, Joe Hart, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling for the senior category.
Rooney has played eight games for the national team this year, scoring five goals, and setting the record as the all time England highest goal scorer with 50 national goals.
Rooney won the award last year (2014).
Jesse Lingard is nominated for the U-21 best player.
His contenders for the award are Stoke City's Jack Butland, Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson, Norwich's Nathan Redmond and Southampton's James Ward-Prowse.
Lingard scored two goals for the U-21 team in six matches and has been one of the major breakthrough players of the current Premier League season.
