United midfielder admits team must create more chances and score more

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has admitted that the team needs to do more in the final third.

United have been accused of not creating enough goal scoring chances, while the stats supports the claim. United have been brilliant defensively, but the same can't be said of the attack.

United have drawn six of their last nine games and have had a lot of goalless draws.

Speaking to the club's official website, the Frenchman said:  “Sometimes, it’s difficult to create and find space but, of course, we should create more chances and do more."

The midfielder is also aware of the criticism but also believes the team must work harder in front of goal.

“I know there is criticism but we let people do their talking. Our job is to deliver by winning games. I’ve seen teams win the Premier League with good, solid defences and not conceding goals."

“Football is like that sometimes. But, of course, we need to work on our formation to try to score goals and win games.”
