Chelsea manager Guss Hiddink has come to the rescue and defence of flopping United star Memphis Depay.
The £31m from PSV was touted as one of the best youngest footballer of his age, when he joined United and was expected to provide the spark and flair for United on the wings.
But the Dutchman has not been able to play and live up to expectations at Old Trafford.
His howler back nodding against Stoke led to Stoke's first goal and he was substituted at half time.
Rumours of his extravagant social life has hit the news than news from his boots on the pitch.
But his former boss at national team says he has all it takes to succeed and he need more time and cover.
"He's a very young guy, When he was in Holland he was one of the star players, at a very young age.
"He has this talent but he's also now having a confrontation with the demands of the Premier League, which are much higher in intensity of the game during 90 minutes.
"That's a period all players, not just him, have to overcome, and I think they need time for that.
Those guys, they need a bit the cover of experienced players."
United host Chelsea on the 28, with a lot of speculation still hanging on manager Louis Van Gaal.
Here's the video of that fatal mistake by Memphis. He shouldn't have mocked Van Persie.
