Former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry has said Manchester United players are not enjoying their football.
United slumped to a second defeat in a roll, against Bournemouth over the weekend, after been knocked out of the Champions League.
The Frenchman believes the players are not allowed to fly and express themselves, while the team is too rigid.
Speaking to Sky sports, He said: "It seems like the players aren’t enjoying it, there is no fun there."
“It is too rigid and it is very predictable. You have to let the players express themselves in the final third. It seems like they’re not allowed to fly at times."
Henry cited the case of Angel Di Maria who became an instant hit at United, but faded with time.
“We saw it with Angel di Maria. He was great when he first arrived but he had to do some stuff that he wasn’t used to doing."
Do you think Van Gaal's methods is killing the United players?
