Will Van Gaal still keep his United job if this happens?

Manchester United gave their top four hopes a huge boost with the derby victory at the Etihad.

Lot of pundit and spectators didn't give United a chance, but against the expectations of many, Van Gaal led his team to a victory that may turn around United's wobbling season.

The team is out of the Europa League, more disappointingly knocked out by arch rivals Liverpool.
But United are still in the FA Cup. A replay away at West Ham separate United from a semifinal match with Everton.

Riding on the confidence from the derby win, United know that they can at least deliver when it matters the most, even in away matches.

After the international break, the team would be entering into a period of eight league finals. And with City on a down slide, United may just nick into the top four, with some consistency.

United making the top four would mean the season isn't an utter failure for Van Gaal and his team.

Prior to derby, Van Gaal was generally believed to be on his way out of United.

Rumors of a sack was reasonable, and news of Mourinho signing a pre- contract with United has surfaced online.

But with a last ray of hope on the horizon, United top four hopes currently alive, and the FA Cup still in view.

Do you think Van Gaal should be kept as United coach next season if United make the top four and win the FA Cup?
