The Manchester United skipper is expected to be back in training after the international break.
The Englishman has been.out for over two months now, and his absence has given birth to the exponential rise of young striker Marcus Rashford.
However Jesse Lingard has hinted that the United skipper should be back after the break.
"He should be back after the
international break,”
"We have a lot of players coming back. That’s a massive boost for the squad." He said via Guardian.
His return would be a highly welcomed development, as United have missed his inspiration on the pitch. With eight games to go, his return could be a catalyst United need to end the season on a high.
United still stand a chance of making the top four and are still in contention for the FA Cup, with an away replay at Upton Park with West Ham.
