Anthony Martial has stated the difference between the English League and the French League.
The striker joined United from Monaco at the start of the season and has established himself as a favorite and regular at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman thinks the physical nature, unpredictability and passionate support are what distinguishes the English League from the French league and makes it the best in the world.
"The Premier League is more physically demanding than Ligue 1. I love English football, it's the best in the world in my opinion, and I hope to stay here for many years to come. He told Sky Sports Geoff Shreeves in an exclusive interview.
"It's true that the atmosphere here is quite different from the one in France, people live and breathe football here, and that's what I like, every footballer wants to play in the Premier League.
"In France it's easy to know which team is going to win the game, where as in England anywhere you play, you know it's going to be difficult."
United have had a difficult season so far. The team faces Manchester City on Sunday in what would be the teams last push for the top four.
After being knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday, and staying without a win in their last four games, the derby is a must win for Van Gaal and his team.
