Sir Alex Ferguson writes off Manchester United's top four hopes: Tips West Ham ahead of City

Sir Alex Ferguson has backed Leicester City to win the League with three games to go. The Foxes have been the surprise package if the season, and are currently five points ahead of second Tottenham.

The former United manager was speaking at a Cheltenham Festival preview launch.

When asked if asked if he believed the Leicester can win the League, he replied: (Via goal.com)

"Of course they can. I believe they will win it with three games to spare."

Ferguson also in his prediction for the top four come the end of the season left both Manchester United and City out and surprisingly included West Ham in his top four.

Sunday Times Jonathan Northcroft Wrote:

Ferguson, now a Manchester United director, also expects West Ham to finish in the top four, with his own club — and Manchester City — missing out.

This means the former United gaffer has lost hope on Van Gaal's team this season.

United have lost their last two games, and currently lie sixth on the table.

With a director like Fergie giving up on United's top four chances, it means a change of personnel is most likely to happen within the United coaching system in the summer.
