There are a number of surprises in the 18 man squad that traveled to the hotel for this game against Liverpool.
The duo of Daley Blind and Ander Herrera are missing form the squad.
Ander Herrera was with Van Gaal in his press conference yesterday. His omission from the squad is surprising.
Same for Daley Blind who has not missed any United game since October 25 in the Manchester Derby. He has started every game since then.
Long time absentee Antonio Valencia made the 18 man list.
Defender Borthwick-Jackson also made a return to the team, after a brief absence due to injury.
Youngster RoShaun Williams also made the team.
