Liverpool and Manchester United charged by UEFA for Europa fracas

Both teams have been charged separately for offences during the second leg of the Europa League meeting between the two rivals at Old Trafford.

Away team Liverpool were charged for
1. Illicit chants
2. Setting up fireworks
3. Throwing objects
4. Crowd disturbance and
5. Late kick off in the second half.

Home team Manchester United were charged for
1. Blocking stairways
2. Crowd disturbance and
3. Throwing of objects

Both teams are to submit their response to the charges to UEFA.

UEFA's control, ethics and disciplinary body will make a final decision on May 19, a day after the Europa League finals.
