The Everton striker has opened up that he can still work with former boss José Mourinho again.
The duo worked together at Chelsea, with the Portuguese sanctioning the move of the Belgian to Everton after limited first team appearances.
There were media speculation that the duo were not in good terms, but the striker has since dispelled such rumour, and went further to thank Mourinho for giving him an opportunity at Chelsea.
The player has recently stated his desire to move to a champions League playing club, while Mourinho is the favorite to become United's next manager.
United are still in the race for a place in next season's Champions League, and with a striker of his quality on the move, United will always be a possible designation.
Currently with the Belgian team for their friendlies, he was asked if he can work again with Mourinho, he responded:
"Of course.
"Some people will say that I need to convince him but it's not a question of that. Three years ago I was 20 and I wasn't ready to be immediately effective in a top team." He added.
"Several good seasons, including the current one, have changed the situation. I'll be 23 (later this year) and I could leave this summer."
He has scored 18 league goals in 29 matches for the Toffees, and 25 in 37 games in total this season. He is a prolific scorer, and moving to a team like United would boost the team.
